Summary: Donna comes across a disturbing scene.
Disclaimer: I don’t own Doctor Who, or the characters.
The room looked like a slaughterhouse, pools and splatters of red everywhere, across the floor, furnishings, walls, even the ceiling.
“Oh my God!” Donna gasped. “What happened here?” She glanced around uncertainly, sure there’d be dismembered bodies somewhere close by. It wasn’t that she wanted to see them, just that if she knew where they were she could avoid them.
The Doctor dipped a finger in one pool and tasted it, making Donna close her eyes and turn away.
“It’s not blood, it’s red ink.”
“You’re sure?”
“Oh yes. Even the best editors can only endure so much bad writing.”
