A/N: Double drabble.
“Bad Fluff,” Owen scolded, stern-faced.
Perhaps naively, he’d thought that since Fluffs were empathic, able to feel what their human friends were feeling, they wouldn’t need to be taught the difference between right and wrong and could be trusted to behave sensibly. It hadn’t occurred to him that Dizzy wouldn’t automatically know what it should and shouldn’t do.
It wasn’t entirely Dizzy’s fault, it hadn’t known any better, but that didn’t mean Owen could afford to let the Flufflet off without punishment. Discipline was necessary for all youngsters, and for adults too; he supposed that meant he’d have to be the strict ‘parent’ and set Nosy’s offspring straight on a few things. Honestly, it was a miracle the Flufflet was still in one piece.
“Never play with anything that doesn’t belong to you unless one of us tells you it’s safe. D’you understand?”
Dizzy gave a faint hum in response; the Flufflet seemed to be trying to sink into the concrete floor, and deep-down, Owen sympathised. There’d been times he’d felt that way.
“No cookies for a week! Hopefully, we’ve both learned a valuable lesson. You shouldn’t touch anything without permission, and I shouldn’t leave the singularity scalpel lying around.”
