“What’s this?” the Doctor asked, picking up a notebook that had fallen from his new companion’s pocket. He’d noticed her writing something in it earlier and had been curious but hadn’t wanted to interrupt.
Toshiko Sato blushed. “Oh, it’s a list. I started it after the first time we met. You know, with the Space Pig.”
“I remember. So what’s it a list of?”
If anything, Tosh’s blush deepened. “All the questions I want to ask you,” she admitted.
Looking at the notebook with its hundreds of pages, the Doctor grinned. “I can tell we’re going to get along famously!”
