A/N: Double drabble.
Both Ianto and Jack were panting for breath as they heaved the unconscious Weevil into the back of the SUV, which sank noticeably on its suspension.
Bent over, hands on knees, Ianto gasped out, “It’s too bad we’re just taking this one back to the sewers. The others would never believe how big this monster is!”
“Uh huh!” Slumped against the closed rear hatch, Jack nodded. “Should’ve photographed him first, or maybe weighed him.”
Ianto straightened up slowly, rubbing his back and wincing. “Weighed him? With what?”
“Ah, good point. Maybe we can measure him before we shove him down a manhole.”
“Assuming he’ll even fit. Come on, better get going. We don’t want him waking on the way.”
It was only a short drive to the nearest sewer access. With any other Weevil, they might have just carried it, but not this one.
“We should dub him Brutus,” Jack said as they wrestled the giant out of the boot. “Take a picture of me with him; I’ll hang in on my office wall.”
“Like anglers with their record-breaking catch?”
“Yep!” Propping up the behemoth, Jack beamed as Ianto snapped a photo. “Now no one can accuse us of lying.”
