A/N: Double drabble.
There was something extra cosy, Ryo decided, about waking up with a gale howling outside, driving heavy rain against the windows, and knowing he didn’t have to get up if he didn’t want to.
Slipping out of bed, he threw his robe on, visited the bathroom, dashed to the kitchen just long enough to make coffee and toast, then he was back, burrowing under the covers, where it was still nice and warm because his partner was there to snuggle up to, like a big hot water bottle.
“Still rainin’?” Dee mumbled, wrapping an arm around his lover beneath the covers.
“Harder than ever. From the look of the sky, it’ll probably be pouring all day.”
“And for once we don’t have to get up and go to work in it; lucky us.” A lazy, self-satisfied smile curved Dee’s lips; he still had his eyes closed, obviously reluctant to wake up all the way.
“I was thinking pretty much the same thing. In fact, we don’t even have to get up; we can stay right here all day.”
“Yeah?” Dee cracked one eye open.
“Breakfast in bed, then a nap, and after that… we’ll think of something.”
“Works for me.”
