A/N: Double drabble.
Outside, snow was falling, and Ryo was glad he didn’t have to be out in it. Snow was a whole lot prettier to look at from indoors, where it was warm and cosy. Setting his steaming mug down on the windowsill, he piled up most of his bedding, making himself a sort of nest from which he could watch the snow in comfort.
Curling up in the middle and pulling the comforter around him against the slight chill coming through the glass, he leaned against the pile of pillows, picked up his coffee, and took a cautious sip. It was still much too hot to drink, so he cradled the mug in both hands, soaking up the heat from it, staring out at the curtain of white flakes drifting lazily down from the sky. The heavy clouds looked like a giant, feather-filled duvet draped over the city, with the contents spilling out.
He had a pile of chores waiting, including cleaning, laundry, and ironing, and he really ought to be getting them done, but they weren’t going anywhere, and besides, he deserved a break.
He smiled; for once he was going to spend his day off doing whatever he wanted.
