Summary: Willow wishes she wasn’t so socially awkward.

A/N: Double drabble.
Willow hates being so awkward around boys, and other people. She wants to be more confident and outgoing, but she’s not sure she has it in her. Not that he wants to be like Cordelia and the girls she hangs out with, no way, she just doesn’t want to spend her whole life stuttering and forgetting how to speak whenever a boy so much as looks at her.
Although boys generally don’t notice her anyway. Why would they? She doesn’t have much of a figure, and the clothes her mom buys her effectively conceal what there is. Boys like girls who dress sexily, which is definitely not Willow, and preferably someone capable of speech.
Then the new girl, Buffy, singles Willow out to help her get caught up with her classes, and suddenly Willow has a new role model. Buffy is all the things Willow isn’t. She’s pretty, blonde, dresses fashionably, and has a bubbly personality that has two boys interested in her before she’s been at Sunnydale High half a day.
‘If I could only be like Buffy,’ Willow thinks. ‘Maybe then Xander might go out with me.’ But she knows he wouldn’t.
Xander only has eyes for Buffy.
