As he entered the part of the archives Ianto used as his office, Jack stopped dead and stared in amazement at the vision of gorgeousness in front of him.
“Ianto Jones, have you been holding out on me? I never knew you wore glasses!”
“I don’t.” Ianto threw a glare Jack’s way. “Not usually. But like the majority of twenty-first century adults, I lack your perfect fifty-first century vision and need a little help. Most of the time I wear contacts, but one popped out when I was wrestling that creature you called a Zinnuck into its cell, and the damned thing ate it!”
“Ah, yes, Zinnuck are known for eating odd things.”
“Wish you’d told me that sooner. It almost got my car keys as well, which would have caused even more problems,” Ianto grumbled. “Anyway, I didn’t have a spare pair of contacts left at the Hub, so I had to resort to my glasses. I keep them in my desk so I can give my eyes a break when I’m working at my computer. They cut down the glare from my monitor. So what was it you wanted?”
“I forget, but I know what I want now!”
