“Oh, I like this one!” Jack relaxed into the chair, using its remote control to recline the back, and raise the leg rest. “It’s so comfy! You could sleep in this.” He winked. “Or do other things.”
Ianto sighed. “Jack, we’re here to choose a new living room suite and a coffee table to replace the things you wrecked chasing that wasp. We don’t need a recliner; there wouldn’t be room for it!” His end of terrace house was cosy, but on the small side, especially now Jack had more or less moved in.
Still lounging in the massive recliner, fiddling with the controls, Jack looked across at his lover. “But it even vibrates! Just think how nice it would be to have a soothing massage after a hard day at work.”
“Knowing you, you’d spend all day in it and never get any work done. Not to mention you’d wear out the motor within a month.”
“But Ianto…”
“No. It’s impractical and way too big. Probably wouldn’t even fit through the front door.”
“Spoilsport,” Jack grumbled.
Three days later, a delivery man showed up at the tourist office with the recliner.
Jack grinned. “Plenty of room in the Hub!
