During the summer, the libraries around where I live hold a reading program. You read a certain amount, you get prizes. Each year is a different theme. This time, it was baseball. Several different companies often give out prizes for the contest, usually coupons to In n Out or something ( Read more... )

Also appeared in a M&M commercial. You'd think it be pretty obvious anyhow. xD

Our libraries do that too, with the themes and all, even though they never seem to make sense. Last year's was secret agents, for example. I know they use the themes to make reading more appealing to kids, but can't they be even slightly relevant?
