((ooc: purple is Lenalee, red is ghost!Anita.))
[Lenalee is sitting on a bench in the garden, hands folded in her lap. Behind her is a
gorgeous woman in ornate robes that cover just a little bit too little, comb in hand. Her wistful smile is almost motherly as she brushes Lenalee's hair out.]
Your hair is getting long again.
Yes. There's still a

He steps up, unafraid to do so, while staring. His hand extends, intent on trying to touch this hair.]

Hello, what's your name?
[The ghost behind her continues brushing out Lenalee's hair, taking little notice of the new arrival.]

His reach withdraws when the young girl's voice chimes in and he stares, obvious in his few bricks short a wall. Luckily, his pet human is useful in more ways than blowing things up.]
Wond-wondeerweiss, Maageraa..
[He nods his head, alright, that taken care of. He turns his attention back to the hair, the long dark strands reminding him almost of someone else, the same ghost following him more than likely trying to track him down.]

It's nice to meet you. I'm Lenalee.
[She offers him her hand. Lenalee is unsure if a handshake will fulfill his apparent desire to touch her or not, but it seems worth a try.]
Your hair is pretty long too.

[Well, there's someone who looks like a softer version of uppity whore, and it's a someone he's never been before, not to mention both she and Lenalee seem perfectly comfortable with the situation and it is quite weird.]
[Lenalee, why did you bring a classy hooker into the garden?]
[Better yet... WHY IS THERE A CLASSY HOOKER?]
[He steps out into the view, but he can't exactly phrase a coherent question and just blinks, tilting his head and staring at them.]
[EXPLAIN, PLEASE.]

[It takes a moment for Lenalee to notice Kanda, lost in memories of her last time spent with Anita. It's wrong, to have someone dead come back to life. Nothing more than a trick of the Millennium Earl, Lenalee knows better than to trust it. But Anita is not truly alive now, and Lenalee knows of the existence of ghosts just as well. This meeting is far, far more enjoyable than her last encounter with one. Like all things in the Manor, it's sure not to last. But Anita's company is worth enjoying while she can, even if it is a constant reminder of all the people she couldn't save.]
[Lenalee glances up, and brightens when she takes note of Kanda, waving him over. At first she attributes his confusion to the fact that there is a dead woman behind her, but then it dawns on her that Kanda never got to meet Anita. It's a strange thought, given what an impact Anita had on her during the brief time they were together. But it isn't a memory that Lenalee had ever shared with him.]

[Kanda stares some more, looking quite dumbstruck, but finally takes note of the waving and steps closer, almost in a sneaky manner, before stopping still a few meters away and her dead hooker mother figure.]
Who is that.

This is Anita.
[Lenalee gives her an apologetic look, before moving her gaze back to Kanda.]
This is Kanda.
[Anita nods, amused, though Lenalee isn't sure how she could have known about him.]

This scene made Chidori a little sad though ... and she almost wanted to cry. ]
My mommy used to do that for me ... when she was alive.

[It was hard to know what to say to that. She had not consciously thought of the action as motherly, but Anita brushing her hair out probably did look that way. It felt it, too, now that she thought about it. Lenalee wondered vaguely if her mother had done the same.]
I'm not sure if mine did.
[Most likely. That was something that most mothers surely did for their children, but she had little to no memory of her own parents. Lenalee had been so young when they were killed-- she was momentarily afraid that if they did come back as ghosts she wouldn't recognize them.]
Would you like to sit down?
Reply
Chidori would like that, thank you.
[ She sat in front of Anita and Lenalee and just watched them for a while. If the lady wasn't her mommy, who was she? They didn't really look alike. So they probably weren't family.
But She had to be ---- pretty close to her if the author chose her. ]
By the way, my name is Chidori. What is yours?

Lenalee Lee, it's nice to meet you. [She paused a moment, before gesturing behind herself and adding--] This is Anita.
[The ghost stopped long enough to nod at Chidori, before resuming brushing Lenalee's hair.]
