[Holding up a rubber duck thanks to the works according to this post 17 looks rather perplexed. It isn't every day you see an army of bright yellow floating merrily down the stream. And every other source of water one could encounter.] Is this some kind of a joke? It's a little funny, but I don't get the point.

There's... so many!

[Upon arriving back to home sweet Manor, Goku had decided to go wander about outside and realized there was much more play room to explore. But he couldn't very well just ignore the obnoxiously yellow rubber duckie army that was floating by. So he's sitting there by the edge of the water and watching them go right on by.]

....

[Look at that, his prime target just sitting there, completely distracted by the 'ducks' drifting by. What a perfect opportunity this provides! If 17 was inclined, he could toss the duck aside and engage in battle RIGHT NOW, ruining this place!!!!

...or he could be smart about it and wait. For all he knows, maybe this Goku is stronger than him. Not that it's possible, of course 17 is the strongest in the universe blabla-DBZ-villain-ego.

Deciding the latter option is better, he walks up slowly to where Goku is, keeping a distance like he's radiating some kind of android-specific poison.]

It appears to be so. [STARE]

[Goku leans forward a little bit, reaching out as he picks up one of the ducks and it makes a squeaky noise when he squeezes it.]

And they're squeaky!

[Doesn't seem to take much to make him happy apparently. He blinks and looks back over his shoulder. Can't quite get a reading on this guy so Goku merely assumes there's nothing to worry about and holds the ducky out to him as a sort of offering.]

Heh, guess you noticed them too huh?

[This can't be the Goku he was built to destroy. Why did he squeak it? Though Goku did offer nicely 17 rejects it by folding his arms, clearly uninterested. If he wants his own duck he'll go get it gdit!] My vision does work, so yes. It's kind of hard not to notice it.

Did you have anything to do with this?

Much like everything else here, I doubt there is a sound reason.

[Stares at the river of them, an angry look on his face as if they were mocking him with their existence.] I could obliterate all of them if I wanted to!

Not really much of a challenge, wouldn't you say? It would be more like a carnival game than anything. [Which is still FUN..]

How many units are there?

[No, he's not joking. He wants an exact count. THIS IS IMPORTANT TO HIM OKAY?]

...you want me to count all of them? Let's not forget that there are multiple sources of water here and they're probably scattered everywhere.

Yes. [He says this oh-so-nonchalantly as if he had just asked someone to pass the salt.]

If that's too hard for you, I can settle for pictures or a recording too.

[Hmph.] Fine. Hold on.

[Time to put those android abilities to use. For a moment there's a pause over the feed as he scans the incoming set of ducks in the water, counting them quickly and adding them up in his computerized brain. It doesn't take long--]

In this particular spot there are an average forty-two if you consider the exchange of units arriving and leaving in my span of view as an equal constant, averaging each other out.

[SPLASH! Something just got 'shot' out of the water.] ...Forty-one.

Back to forty-two.

Forty-one...

....forty-one and a half.... forty....
