Pineapple Rice

Ingredients
300g (10oz) brown rice
900ml (1.5 pint) vegetable stock
1 onion, chopped
1/2 tsp turmeric
225g (8oz) fresh pineapple (or use 225g/8oz can chopped pineapple in juice, drained)
60g (2oz) currants

Interesting...I had to look up some of the stuff, but it sounds very delicious. I think I'll return to your recipes the next time my boys aren't home...they don't eat "mixed" stuff!

Well, like stuff together in on pot/pan whatever...like you have the rice, the onion, the pineapple and the currants together...one will always not eat something and believe me, I ain't picking currants out of a dish like this.

Dressing? Gravy? Nope, not in my house...or well, I love it, but my kids want their food clean...or in ketchup, lol.
