I am the owner of Zombuki Masai and also had some problems:

~  Her hands were slightly dirty when she arrived.

~  Quote: 'Here is Masai, who will be going home soon, I should warn you, in a beautiful kimono from The Second Shop.'  But she didn't come in that kimono, and that wasn't even the last photoshoot of her.

Brigitte's response:
it should have read: "Here is Masai, in a beautiful kimono from The Second Shop. I should warn you, she will be going home soon" (ie so you won't be seeing photos of her from me anymore)(Which I understand but surely I would not be alone in interpreting the sentence as I did. Masai did arrive in lovely clothes quite suitable for the price I paid, it was just a surprise. There was another photoshoot from Brigitte after that one ( ... )

It seems like she's more interested in getting attention for her photos than actually getting the dolls to the people who pay for them.

If I paid that much for a doll, I'd be like "stop taking pics and send her to me!"

Please post this behind an LJ cut (as it takes up almost an entire page).

I do hope you get your refund.

Thank you!

What a mess - I sure hope it all works out for you.

It seems a little ridiculous to ask for 100% payment prior to doing the work, IMO. Is this customary?

I think every one of her pre ordres she asks for payment in full before she even starts it. I thought I could "trust" her since she was so popular within the Pullip community.

From all the messages I have gotten she did not spend my money on any of the materials to make the custom in the first place it seems. I do remember awhile back she sent me a picture of the wig for the doll but that is really it.

She is the only person I have come across so far in the dolly community that asks for all payment up front.

She does seem like a sweet person but i remember that preorder! That seriously awile back! And seeing all those new dolls come out. Seriously, she should have put your doll ahead of those ones. It's not right to do that to someone who has paid so much!

Thank you! I'm gald people are understanding how upset I am over this. I love Zombukis and to be pushed around - also being a repeat customer really upsets me.

That's not acceptable for her to do other dolls before she finishes the ones she's been paid for seriously. IMO, she shouldn't have asked for payment in full. She should have asked for a smaller deposit. She puts out dolls pretty quickly it seems so there isn't really an excuse for yours to be put off ( ... )

*nods* What I am waiting on now. Supposedly she is waiting for the payment to clear in her paypal before sending it to me.

that's ridiculous. her dolls are nicely done but incredibly overpriced in my opinion. I wouldn't pay more than $150 for one. I understand a lot of..."creativity" goes in to them but since the dolls lack any shading or blushing I don't see what the extra like $300 is for. I'm certainly not trying to offend anyone since they are gorgeous but...I dunno. It's been proven before they can easily be re-created. And didn't she used to only charge $300, and they came with more things then?

Kaikai was about $215. She came with two doll outfits and a plushie friend.

With Naka I was suppose to get: Her body was standard so no Obitsu by the way. I tink her wig was from Kstarr. Her clothes were suppose to be an outfit (knee-length purpleplaid shorts with suspenders, black and white striped top, socks, purple leopard creepers), plus a little companion.

From what I've seen the outfits are very well put together and have a lot of pieces. I'm not sure if that's still the case. The kimonos the first few had were really nice but it looks like she's not sending the dolls with that anymore.

Remember when Kaikai was on esty for like $200 and no one would buy her? She was offering to trade her for 2 cornices. Now it's like a huge waiting list and pay $400 with less stuff and slow work.

I think it's all gone to her head. I'm kinda glad blue_rose615 posted this because i've been thinking it for a long time.
