That's not acceptable for her to do other dolls before she finishes the ones she's been paid for seriously. IMO, she shouldn't have asked for payment in full. She should have asked for a smaller deposit. She puts out dolls pretty quickly it seems so there isn't really an excuse for yours to be put off

I am waiting on my refund. She wanted to push me off till July 1st to give me one too. I told her no and she has untill June 22 to give me one or I woudl call my credit card company.
You know... it's not REALLY her style. She copied off of America's Next Top Model and then continued to use the style, even if she was not longer copying the entire faces. The only part she really 'invented' is calling them Zombuki.
Did she ever back you up, by the way during that argument since you DID ask ahead of time? I don't recall.
QFE QFE QFE! I hate how now one can do ANY geometrical face-up without it being called a "rip-off" of the Zombukis. I think it's cool she was the first one to try a more geometrical look, but it's from ANTM, which took it from somewhere else, too, I'm sure.
i knew she copied it but for some reason it's like no one else is "allowed" to do the crazy kabuki-style makeup now on dolls because it's "her thing." I don't think it's the faceup themselves that makes them so likeable. It's the combo with the cute outfits, wigs, and stuff. If it was just the doll itself, it wouldn't have the appeal.
she gave me permission to do the doll, but it's like she changed her mind when i posted pictures. IDK. she didn't back me up or call me out. she never really took a side.
No, she just let them rip you a new a-hole. If you see that happening, and do nothing you *are* taking sides. You're just being passive-aggressive about it. I heard about it when you posted your dolls for sale, and was like 'what?' and had to go searching to find what was going on. That really sucked. I'm glad you didn't leave the dolls forever because of it.
You should be able to do whatever you want to do if you customize. You can't just cut off an entire genre for one person's use, especially when that person didn't even invent it to begin with. I don't like having a custom that looks nothing like any of Brigette's dolls being compared to a Zombuki just because it's unusual.
yeah, it's really annoying. when I posted pics of my custom with the venician-mask style faceup someone was like "hm...looks like a zombuki." I was kinda about to say "just because it's not a natural looking faceup?"
The thing is, her dolls USED to be really creative and unique. Now, she just paints some spots on them and gives them milky eyechips. The last several have basically been just spotted. Looks like alien chicken pox. XD Not to be mean. That's just my opinion. I liked Coco and the older ones when there was more variety and detail.
She asked to make one Zombuki Namu, which I was okay with, when she started *selling* Pullips in a Zombuki style I wasn't as okay with it. She and I discussed it privately and that should have been that.
as for this, first of all it was a taeyang not namu. second i didn't make the doll w/ the intention of selling it. I had an expense so time later and I decided to sell her. And it was one pullip. Not pullips. Besides, I never marked her as Zombuki. I sold her as bait.
