I think I have too thick of a shell. Maybe I assume it's easier to keep people at a distance at all times so that I never let anyone in.

I was in my yard when when I was 7 and I found a baby bird that was knocked out of its nest. I picked it up and put it in towel and carried it inside my house. I made a nest like container for it and fed it special bird food from the vet and water.
