* I arrived.  My shuttle to St. George lost my reservation but I was able to get another one right away.  More than 2 hours straight driving, but the a/c felt great and I was able to lean my head against the window and sleep a little.

* Dani and her partner picked me up, along with Dani's 20 month old son G.  He is such a love, said hi to me right ( Read more... )

I'm so wondering what you found that was new at Wal-Mart. I have no clue what we have here that y'all don't have there and vice versa. :) Also, your meal at Red Lobster is EXACTLY what I have every time I go.

I hope you get a very restorative sleep and have a wonderful, fulfilling time while you're there - busy enough that you don't miss your family *too* much but not so crazy that you feel overwhelmed. Just the perfect amount of busy-ness. You do such wonderful work for women!

You guys have three billion kinds of cookies that we don't have for one, many more selection of breakfast cereals, shampoo, lotions, etc. And I think your clothing selection for children is much better.

One thing that comes to mind are "Kraft Dinner" crackers that are shaped like straight macaroni noodles. Lots of different cookies, and it was agony to pull myself away from all the Little Debbie donuts. Lots of fun kinds of things for my kids, cereals and such. And 18 eggs is a standard size, where we generally have 12.

And I won't mention the "Premium" m&m's I'm eating ;-)

I love US gorcery stores. So many different kinds of....everything. And don't get me started on Target *sigh*
And I like the way US money feels. The bills are so nice and have a certain smell that I like.

And "Amby".... how sweet! My Abbey refers to herself as Abigael, but confuses it with "A-Big-Girl". So sometimes we offer to help her and she says "No, I'm Abigael".
