finally, a public post

It's been a week or so since I did a public post.  Within the past 9 days, my Grandpa has been hospitalized, diagnosed with cancer, and passed away.  There have been several trips to the city to visit him in the hospital before he was transferred back here, family members have congregated from all over Canada, and there is just a lot going on.  I'

I am so sorry about your Grandpa passing away, it is hard to lose a loved one at any time, but I know this week is even harder for you. It is hard watching someone die, knowing there is nothing you can do, but wanting to fix it just the same.

It was hard to watch him die, especially at this time of year. I feel like I just got back on my feet again and then they got knocked out from under me again.
