Okay, so now I'm flying out at 6:30am tomorrow. No chance to take in Darwin this time (not that there is much from accounts).

Expect radio silence for just over two weeks. I'll try to prepare a nice large post with some photos to upload when I back in what counts for civilisation here.

I saw Watchmen last Friday.

I nerdgasmed.

It was awesome. I will admit that the awesome was definitely helped by having read the book and knowing more about all the side stories and stuff.

It's confirmed. I received a call this morning offering me a cooks position at Kuri Bay starting on the 1st of May. I need to be in Darwin before then. Looking at flights, Tuesday seems to be my best option.

It's been a hectic couple of weeks and it's not going to get any easier.

I still don't have proper internet access so I'll keep this short.

Looks like I'm off to Darwin to work at Kuri Bay for Paspaly, possibly starting on the 1st of May. That's two weeks away kids. Lots to do and organise including some sort of a farewell type occasion.

Interesting week.

I'm currently crashing at a friends place. I quit the Marly yesterday. I had a birthday.

Life is beautiful.

I've taken next Friday (the 13th) off so I can go to the Blink 10 year anniversary. I know it's not everyone's venue of choice for a night out but I don't care. :P ( Read more... )

An brilliant way of perfecting pacing in storytelling...

Is it a bad thing that while walking along King Street I catch myself picking out which stores would be prime candidates to loot should the end of the world arrive, be it a zombie apocalypse or nuclear armageddon?

Maybe I've just been playing too much Fallout 3?
