I thought I was going to struggle to find a #happything today: it wasn't a particularly bad day, just a rather tough and meh one... until the terribly sad news of the death of Alan Rickman broke :(

But I have been greatly cheered by watching Episode 2 of Lucy Worsley's very entertaining and (to me) educational series about the Romanovs - about

I saw Lucy Worsley's programme, too - and really enjoyed it. I did know something about her before, having read a biography some years ago, and anything by Lucy Worsley tends to attract my interest.

I was highly entertained by her descending into the tunnels below the fountains in the Peterhof gardens, still in her frock and high heels! (Somehow Lucy Worsley's dresses always feel like they must be referred to as frocks...)
