Work is going well...
Really well, actually. Out of our training class today I scored the only 100% on quality out of the whole class. And I got the most completes. All in all, had we been live and making commision, my hourly wage would still have been shit. But it did feel good to be doing well. Hey all, Today was the first day at the new gig. AmPacesetters is pretty cool I guess. It's not nearly as dirty and ghetto as one might imagine a call center that prides itself on hiring felons might be. Training is easy, and boring like most of these jobs tend to be. I interviewed with a place called "American Pacesetters" today. It's my mother's company, telemarketing for trade publications. I've been struggling for years to break out of this old mold I cast myself in, Telemarketing, waiting, doing a whole lot of pretty crappy jobs, for seriously crappy pay, and feeling like my life is being wasted. The Magic of a fourth of July past...
Nothing will ever beat the Fourth of July celebration that Sondra and I got in East Los Angeles two years ago. NOTHING. With so much else going on in the world, I feel more than a bit self absorbed posting about the troubles in my life now-a-days.
But that is what MY blog is for, at least in part.
Bad things: 1. Still out of work, 2. AC may be out and I have no way to contact my landlord, 3. Going to be late on rent, with no idea how to pay other bills.

Beetle!!!
So, I am wondering what methods one can use to overcome a serious fear of insects. I don’t know when this started, when I was a child I would dig my hands in the dirt and pull up all kinds of crazy looking treasures with an enthusiasm that I can’t even fathom today. Life at the (relatively) new OTO body…
