Meet the new boss... same as the old boss.
I interviewed with a place called "American Pacesetters" today. It's my mother's company, telemarketing for trade publications. I've been struggling for years to break out of this old mold I cast myself in, Telemarketing, waiting, doing a whole lot of pretty crappy jobs, for seriously crappy pay, and feeling like my life is being wasted. Two things I want to do for myself to break out of this trap: 1.) Learn a trade 2.) Get into school full time These have been active projects now for over 5 years, longer on schooling. This post isn't to beat myself up, so I will only mention that I still to this day have not completed my GED. I am actively learning HTML and graphic design, and doing fairly well so far by my own estimation. As far as schooling goes, I have utterly failed this year at manifesting any Will in that direction. That ends today. By the end of this Summer goddamn it, I will have a GED diploma. That is all. Thanks.
