His approach was not unnoticed. And, since he was headed straight forward, she shifted a little to put both feet flat on the ground, ready to act if he attacked.
But when he spoke, the girl relaxed and flashed a grin in his direction.
"Oh, I lost count awhile ago. Hasn't gotten old yet."
Cliffjumper shook his helm and snorted, tapping his fingers against the back of the bench. Really, Toph, how amusing could it be? At least it was relatively harmless, if just annoying.
"If ya say so. I assume you ain't gonna show off here, considerin' the amount of people around." Because he didn't feel like doing damage control. Creating the damage was more his thing, really. And, really, now that he had a good look at her, Cliffjumper wondered what, exactly, Toph could do that would make her safe from being "accidentally" stepped on...
"Of course not here. I don't wanna cause any major property damage where there are witnesses," was the flippant reply. Not that she was really planning on breaking anything.
Except maybe a run down warehouse that was already falling apart, or something. And that was really just community service, right?
"I know a couple places that'd be okay. C'mon!" And she hopped off the bench.
Cliffjumper stared a bit at that, because if she could do enough that'd be considered "major property damage" then, yeah, that was impressive. He was also starting to wonder how she could do what she claimed to; there seemed to be nothing obvious on her person.
"You want to impress me enough I get all speechless, huh?" Cliffjumper smirked; while it was slightly teasing, he was starting to wonder.
"Prefer to walk over there, or would ya like a lift?" It wasn't really his favourite thing, but it seemed polite to ask.
