It looks like my baby girl is trying to come early. I ended up in the labor and delivery unit Thursday night after my OB appointment because I was having contractions. The nurse on call gave me two shots of terbutaline to stop the contractions - apparently, 35 weeks is too early to deliver - and sent me home with strict instructions to rest and ( Read more... )

I just got back from the doctor and I am 1cm dilated and 80% effaced. Oh yeah, and I lost my mucus plug too. Whoo hoo! It is so good to know that all of those stomach pains haven't been for nothing!

I don't think I have ever been so thrilled at the thought of doing laundry until now. I had an appointment with my OB today. Everything is going well... I gained four pounds since my last check-up, my BP was good, and the baby's HR was 147 BPM. I also found out that the baby is in a head-down position, so Chad and I are going to go ahead and schedule the induction at my next appointment.
