Impatient Little One
It looks like my baby girl is trying to come early. I ended up in the labor and delivery unit Thursday night after my OB appointment because I was having contractions. The nurse on call gave me two shots of terbutaline to stop the contractions - apparently, 35 weeks is too early to deliver - and sent me home with strict instructions to rest and drink lots of water.
It doesn't look like I am going back to work. Chad doesn't want me to go back. Heck, who am I trying to kid? I don't want to go back. I have too many things to do before the baby gets here and the way it's looking now, it won't be too much longer. (I was told that if I go into labor after I hit the 36-week mark, they won't stop it.) We're ready!
