I like the skiing analogy. I always tell people that skis want to turn, they are made from the beginning to turn. If you'll just stop skidding and lean them over onto an edge, they will turn all on their own...

Its sunny down here! I can see the mountain (which reports 43F) from my office knowing fully well that the first slope is 45 minutes away. Do you know what kind of temptation that is? GOOD GOD, if my knee didn't hurt like the devil at the moment I would have been playing hooky about 2 hours ago! Damn knee! I swear if I thought it was possible I would have stayed in pharmaceutical engineering and found the magic drug for the ski-knee. Too bad its just NOT possible, and I have spend many a projects and late night trying to figure something out while I was at UW. Drugs and our bodies is akin to navigating a mine field
