It has for the past year(well almost) bugged the hell out of me when someone tells me they understand how I am feeling when it involves my Marine. How could they possibly understand what its like? These are the same people who bitch about not being able to see their loved ones for 2-3 days, the ones who get bored in their relationships so easily, ( Read more... )

I understand. I totally felt those first few paragraphs, except Army style, not marine style. But I was like, hey, I remember that!

I dont think it matters what branch. We all have our moments like that and understand those moments too well. :)

I don't understand what it is like to have someone in the military that you love. Yet I have a cousin in the army but still I know that not the same. I am just so happy and thrilled for you to have found your soulmate. I know its the best feeling in the world to find that one person that your destine to be with forever.

You already know that we see eye-to-eye on a lot of things, especially when it comes to our army guys. I just read your entry, and know exactly what you mean. It almost made me cry!

I am truly happy that you have found someone. I don't know exactly what you went through, I'd imagine it was the hardest thing you ever had to live with. I've recently become really close to an air force guy who will be going to Iraq from September to January and I don't know what status we will have as far as a relationship when he leaves, but I know it will be hard... We should catch up sometime soon... We've missed out on a lot of each other's lives... ~~Aimee
