Good evening, LJ readers. Hmmm... I believe last time we met, I was extremely sleep deprived, and there was some talk of photos, was there not? Well, here they are, behind the cut...
The surgery is for my leg to prevent more stress fractures. So far I've had three stress fractures in training between boot camp and school of infantry. The one in my femur got pretty bad before I got it checked out. They are all pretty much healed now, but the doctor is going to install titanium rods through the centre of my left femur and tibia to help support things and keep them from reoccuring. Something about running around with a hundred plus pounds of gear on my back doesn't get along with my left leg :P The doc thinks part of it may be due to slightly favouring the other leg since I've broken it before. On the very bright side, I'll get a month of convalescent leave after the surgery... guess where I'm going to be for a month ;)
Adam, she IS beautiful. I'm glad you've found someone to make you happy. ;) Should make recovery from surgery a lot less painless too. I don't know how that works, but it does. Ciao!
