Good evening, LJ readers. Hmmm... I believe last time we met, I was extremely sleep deprived, and there was some talk of photos, was there not? Well, here they are, behind the cut...
Here's a pic of us toward the end of the first night
I don't recognise the background, but I assume we are still out in Old Town Alexandria somewhere?
Here we are on a paddleboat at the Baltimore Inner Harbour:
And here's a pretty girl fresh from the shower:
Mandy and me at the National Zoo
Note the sunglesses smooshed to one side as we cutely press our heads together :P
Here's Mandy at Scott's Run on the last night of our first weekend. Isn't she beautiful?
So anyway, we are hunkered down waiting for Hurricane Ophelia to hit here at Camp Lejeune. Personally I think it's going to be just as weak as that one that hit NoVa a couple years ago, but we'll see. We are currently at Destructive Weather Condition 2, which basically means stay indoors unless you need to be out. I really hope we don't hit DWC 1, because then I'll have to leave my room to go be locked up in one of the rooms on the second deck until it blows over. I'd rather sleep in my own bed and have my laptop and internet access thank you much. For that matter, if we hit DWC 1, the storm's probably bad enough that we won't have electricity or cable, but still... Anyway, as long as I get to see Mandy Friday, I don't really care that much. Oh, I should get the surgery schedule tomorrow. w00t. I'll let y'all know when it is.
