NaNoWriMo Take Two
So I'm doing National Novel Writing Month again. This year, I'm trying to take a blend of sci-fi and fantasy in a very intricate plot idea that's been bouncing around my head for almost a year now. Wish me luck. 1066 words down, 48934 words to go. -

I don't know why I expected any different
I just got the email that told me that I didn't win the Writers of the Future contest. For some reason, that has made me incredibly depressed. I should be all like "Okay, this only makes me stronger as a writer. Get out there, write some more, make it better and win *next* time", but instead I'm just like, "Okay, I'm pretty much a failure.
