Rory? Had had a somewhat busy day.

Between a little sister with some kind of mystical pine martin, hearing about and then seeing Dean, and saying goodbye to Veronica, her Sunday had been a little more emotional than she normally cared for.

Plus, her feet were still sore from the dance marathon. That was why she was resting on her bed, lazily

Anakin came into the room and smiled tiredly. "I still have all of my limbs," he said, collapsing next to Rory on the bed.

"Was that a concern?" Rory asked, running a hand over his cheek.

"Apparently," Anakin said making a face. "Angel had forgotten to mention it."

"Did that all go okay?" Rory asked, looking slightly worried as she gave him a quick kiss. "And want to take bets on who had a weirder day?"

Anakin nodded, kissing her on the top of the head. "Right," he said. "So...little sister?"

"Her name is Lyra and she has an animal that looks like a ferret but isn't and it's magical," Rory said softly.

Anakin chuckled. "A year ago that would've been weird," he said.

"And now it's perfectly normal," Rory agreed, leaning against him. "Fandom is weird."

"Well that's why they kept transferring you," Anakin said, tweaking her nose.

"I'm not convincing enough," Rory sighed, planting a kiss on his neck. "I've kept all the hard copies, though, so I really should just take the paperwork in person."

"I've always found that to be much more effective, personally," Anakin said, running his hands under Rory's shirt.

"I'm not normally a take-charge kind of girl, though," Rory murmured, toying with his belt. "I can make an exception or two, though...."

Every nerve in Anakin's body was tingling. He buried his head against Rory's shoulder and held on.

Rory lightly bit Anakin's earlobe, running her hands over his chest.

Anakin moaned and tried to increase the tempo.

Rory made a soft, needy noise and matched his rhythm.

"And I'll never, ever forget it," Anakin said softly.

[auroryborealis]

"Promise?" she whispered.

[emo_padawan]

"Promise," he echoed.

[auroryborealis]

Rory snuggled close and went quiet again.
