Happy birthday impeccablesimon!!!

Saw Hancock last night with a couple of friends I haven't seen in ages, it was so nice to catch up finally. I liked the movie - except for the revelation about his past and that (don't want to give it away), it was a bit weird and didn't seem to fit and I didn't buy it because, perhaps, of the acting ( Read more... )

Well, you have to make the anatomically correct. Otherwise, how will they ever multiply?

Yes but I'm not sure the giant breasts are all that necessary ;)

And is it just me or is Michael bloody Phelps really cocky?

Thank you for having the nerve to say this! It's been driving me nuts... soooo tired of hearing about him and his quest for 355 gold medals. Is it not excessive and greedy or is it just me feels that way?

As soon as this Olympics started all I've heard about is Phelps and his greedy quest - yes I think it's greedy too! I'd have said "good on him" if he wasn't so arrogant about it. Glad to hear I'm not the only one!

And isn't it a bit sus that he wins every time?

It's almost your turn! I'm so happy you're finally getting out of that place. It's kind of funny...and appropriate, I think that the three of us (you, me, impeccablesimon) meet up and we end having that one thing in common.

Anyway, good luck!

Thanks!

It's sweet, and not half as daunting as it would be without you two! I know I met him through you, but how did you meet him? just curious.

I met him through the random journal link. The first time I hit it I got one that was in Russian, the second was someone who never even updated, the third was in Russian again, and the fourth was him.

I think I had that experience the one time I tried that too - but I gave up before getting someone cool like Michael ;)

I felt the same about Hancock. I wanted to watch it on the big screen for the action stuff. Oh and don't worry, I didn't know it was Charlize Theron either!

We've got the Olympics on at work, so I'm seeing a lot more than I'd like to. Sorry, but I'm over it!

Hmmmm, gingerbread men! :)

When they're showing a marathon or baseball or something equally tedious, it's pretty boring. But the diving! The gymnastics! The sprints! We watched the finals of the Trampolining last night which was pretty cool - Canada got silver :)

Jason Bateman is good :D

Usain Bolt is just amazing! I watched his 200m semi(?) last night, and you can tell he's holding back. He was playing with the guy who came second - it was hilarious. But he just makes it look so easy. The final is on tonight - it should be good.

I think Hackett should be happy with silver. Sure, gold would have been brilliant, but he still won us a medal, didn't he?! Good on him!

Ooh, gingerbread man might make me feel better! I do prefer the gender neutral one though. ; )

Cake! Everybody loves cake!

I think the edit button might only be for paid accounts. Or I'm blind. *Wibbly face*
