Happy birthday impeccablesimon!!!

Saw Hancock last night with a couple of friends I haven't seen in ages, it was so nice to catch up finally. I liked the movie - except for the revelation about his past and that (don't want to give it away), it was a bit weird and didn't seem to fit and I didn't buy it because, perhaps, of the acting ( Read more... )

Jason Bateman is good :D

Usain Bolt is just amazing! I watched his 200m semi(?) last night, and you can tell he's holding back. He was playing with the guy who came second - it was hilarious. But he just makes it look so easy. The final is on tonight - it should be good.

I think Hackett should be happy with silver. Sure, gold would have been brilliant, but he still won us a medal, didn't he?! Good on him!

Ooh, gingerbread man might make me feel better! I do prefer the gender neutral one though. ; )

Oh, probably. Though it could be my settings - I can't see an edit choice there either. May have got bumped when I changed my layout? Let me investigate...

I saw that race too, but I think I may have missed the final, unless they show it tonight. I was expecting it to be on last night.

I have a feeling they're not going to give me a farewell party at all, and, if that happens, I admit to a petty feeling of wanting to say "screw you guys, you're not getting any cake then!" and taking it home with me. It'd be nice but I'm not that mean. We'll see.
