After much nagging from a sis who refuses to visit me here on LJ, I have caved and joined Facebook. Not sure how I feel about that, but I do get left out because everyone except my Dad is on Facebook! We'll see how it goes, and whether I can figure out what the hell's going on. There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of structure to it. In many ways,

With so many blogs and things, do you ever sometimes feel a bit scattered? Like you have an arm here, a foot there, an ear somewhere else... It's hard to keep up with them all and check in and update and be friendly. LJ, GR, Flickr, Facebook etc. etc. I sometimes feel a bit stretched thin, which was one reason why I was reluctant to start up on Facebook.

I wish I was part of a book club, sometimes. I read these books and usually none of my friends are reading them at the same time, and I have this yearning to discuss it with someone!

Congrats on this monkey! That's so impressive. I definitely do have any skill with sewing or crafts.

You can always discuss on LJ - or Goodreads! GR especially is great for that.

I didn't have any sewing skills either, and I was surprised at how well it turned out! Have more confidence in yourself, you'll see :)

Just added you :) I've never been very active on facebook, but I occasionally do some snooping around on there to see what my friends and acquaintances are up to. I much prefer lj, because it gives me a more private place to share my thoughts.
