Okay, maybe not all bad habits, but one in particular: smoking.  Why is it that people with that filthy habit are allowed to step out multiple times during the work day for 5-10 minutes to smoke?  However, if a non-smoker were to randomly step outside for a few moments, they would be chastised.  Why is this normal?  Why does society pander to these ( Read more... )

So I ran into someone I used to work with while I was at the grocery store on Tuesday.  I found out that "they" hired back the woman who had been there for 5 years and then left for her own reasons.  Am I surprised?
