Love please don't let other people make you feel guilty or rash or crazy or anything -- you made a decision that you had contemplated before, based off of information that was a definite deal breaker for you. That's not rash and it's not anything to feel bad about. As for your mom's "advice" - NO. Just NO. You and I are adults, and we would never lie and cheat in each other's life, you know that, I know you do.
