Well, once the house is done, if you ever want a vacation in the exact center of Virginia, in a county with no tourist attractions, come on down. We can play with fireworks, shoot targets off the front porch, set fire to things, and no-one can stop us. It's awesome. :)

Sorry about the heat. We had it several days ago and if it helps, cooler weather is coming.

I envy you the vulture chick :). I thought a turkey vulture was going to nest in the hollow part of the big silver maple in back (that little bald red head is hard to miss) but the first storm in May took out that half of the tree, sigh.
