So, "The Girl Next Door" is a weird movie. It's actually really funny, but with inordinate amounts of nakedness and drugs... Like totally pointless. Chris Marquette, however, is brilliant. Brilliant.

How is it that I could view relentless commercials for "The Covenant" almost every other ad break on Adult Swim for weeks and still not recognize the main character as "Sky High" brooding Chinese Restaurant busboy and human flame-thrower Steven Strait? The Amazon.com ad on tvguide.com recognizes my computer and is advertising books similar to those I just purchased.

There is most definitely a guy in one of my classes who looks like the brother from "Little Miss Sunshine". Except he's not as skinny, and he talks.

So, I had an hour break between my first two classes today and was sitting outside in this pretty area that filled up after like 20 minutes. My name is Miriam, my sister's name is Mollie, and we were going to name our cat Lilly until we figured out he was a Lyle.

So I have a new laptop and I'm having fun exploring, though I'm having trouble re loading old software and my old computer won't start up so I have a lot of things to figure out. F/X is currently playing the crazy neon Romeo and Juliet, and something I didn't realize before: Mercutio - seemingly practiced cross-dressing, kinda in love with Romeo - Mercutio is played by Michael, Walt's dad, from Lost. Trippy.

So in this week's Time magazine they have a list of "5 marvelous movies you might have missed", as part of this feature where they show you things like canceled tv shows or random books. One of the movies is "Brick", which I randomly found on the internet and waited like a year and a half to finally see it last Spring Break. It makes me happy.
