(no subject)
So, I had an hour break between my first two classes today and was sitting outside in this pretty area that filled up after like 20 minutes. I managed to check email from my phone and sign in to lj, but it didn't work too well. I actually keyed in a really short entry but it wouldn't let me post. It's not a very practical goal, so I don't care too much that it didn't work.
What I had wanted to say was that a guy, I'm assuming Freshman, came up to where I was sitting and said "Ma'am, could you tell me how to get to _____ hall?" Any thoughts on how I should feel about this? It goes along rather well with both my sister and Catherine having said that I could look like I was in my '30s (with the right hair and not my normal clothes). I think he realized I was a Freshman too, since I showed him the map I was trying to figure out at the time, or maybe an hour later when we were sitting 3 seats apart in class.
I have discovered that the only things that plug into my surge protector are the laptop power cord and the printer. This is an issue because I can't have my other stuff near enough to work together. On the plus side, I got the cable to work, so my Wednesday night "30 Days"/Stewart+Colbert/Project Runway plan might still happen.
