As I was reading that strip I thought they were turning the Green Lanterns into Power Rangers. ^^() Either that or they were going to summon Captain Planet. Or Voltron.

So, if violet is love, does that mean we're going to have Star Sapphire brought in as a Violet Lantern?

"Come on, Carol. What kind of lame power is 'Heart', anyway?"

Its a possibility! Then we'll get to see Ted Turner running around throwing people out of windows.

Yes, the Star Sapphires are the "Violet Lanterns". The Zamarons are changing their modus operandi.

Yes, Carol Ferris is one of them -- this time, for once, voluntarily.

Must . . . control . . . rising . . . rant . . . about . . . Grant Morrison . . .

But I totally agree about Johns, and this strip, hehe. They're Care Bears, hehe.

For bonus points: "a show that comes on saturdays after the snorks" = "Rudy The Undead Dog" = a reference so geeky that I'm shocked Scott Kurtz went there, even if he *was* part of the original.

Yes, so geeky that I'm surprised *Kurtz* did it.

Holy crap.

Agreed! Geoff Johns is writing some -excellent- stuff, and has been for the past four years! Sinestro Wars really got me back into Green Lantern, and I pretty much consider the Corps/Blackest Night/Green Lantern comics to be the best material in the DC comics universe, at the moment. I was and still am not much a fan of Grant Morrisson and his work on both Marvel and DC, but if you also want some very fun stuff to look at while you're at work, try Greg Pak's Incredible Hercules and Peter David's incredible work with X-Factor.
