Vidding with high-res source

This is mainly a post-mortem describing how I made Bukowski, my House vid from this year's VVC, using extremely high-resolution source. I'll apologize in advance -- I really can't provide individual help for anyone trying to do this or troubleshoot it, because I just don't have time. The scary thing is, the vast majority of this stuff looks familiar to me.

...but the HD-specific stuff will be really helpful if I start using HD source; no reinventing the wheel! Bookmarking now. *g*

You are my new deity of choice.

I really want to start vidding with HR source, but I'm scared my 1.66GHz won't be able to handle it. (And I bought the laptop just for vidding! BAH!) Still, the more appreciation I have for the absolute PSYCHOTIC process those Really Awesome Vidders are going through, the more I can tell myself that it's better left for them, anyway ;-) Seriously though, you totally rock for typing all this out. [bows]
