It's Friday afternoon, I finished two projects this week; gonna help my folks tile their entrance tomorrow (yay, shopping at the hardware store this afternoon!), and I feel pretty awesome (also, a bit wired from the coffee a co-worker brought in this morning).

On a beautiful day without hell or high water
So I did take a day off and go to see X-Men: Day of Future Past, after which I ate a gelato while wandering around the plant and plumbing sections of Home Depot. I felt like such a slacker, teehee.

...Or, y'know, sweet potato. Can you plant sweet potato with roses? The harvesting might be a bit difficult...

I've decided that instead of a lawn, I will plant a rose garden. So what if I have a black thumb and can't even keep grass alive? Besides, the planting is easy. Which means I'll have a rose garden for at least a week?

This is going to ROCK
Holy crap, X-Men: Days of Future Past currently has a rating of 90% on Rotten Tomatoes. *squee!* I am so looking forward to seeing this movie, OMG. I might actually take a day off (next month, when I have the time) to go, then come home and drink tea and write fanfic. That would be the perfect day.
