The jeans saga
So. The other day I bought a couple pairs of brand new jeans for myself, for the first time. Target was having a really good sale along with a several coupon codes, so I ended up buying two pairs for about $5 each. Grocery receipts, round two
Joe and I went to Target today, so I decided to type out the receipts from this week, too. We have recently been going to Target only every 2-3 weeks, sometimes longer, just because it's a little further drive. NEWSFLASH!
Joe turned on his phone this evening and had a whole stack of messages waiting for him, all from the VA in Des Moines. He'd sent an email last night, just asking if they happened to have any more positions that would soon be available, etc...and it was then that the HR folks there at the VA realized the mixup. This will need to be a short post today, as I'm about ready to fall asleep here at the computer. Would have gone to bed a while ago, but Joe has a phone interview at 9:00 today and I didn't want to go to sleep too much before him - I'd almost certainly wake up when he came to bed and then would likely be awake most of the day. I've really enjoyed seeing the grocery receipts several of you have posted, just because it's interesting to see how prices vary across the country.
