Male members: How many times have you taken a shot to the balls?

See title. I have a theory that the vast majority of people with testicles only ever get a nut shot once in their lives; afterwards, they will protect the package with fanatical zeal like they were crack addicts and were hiding the world's last few rocks inside their ball sacks

I'd say it comes up once every few years. Usually accidental. I don't protect them that well. If some chick bruises them maybe later she will kiss them better.

Then apparently I'm not quite right. I was a goalie and like once or twice a year I'd one dead into the giant goalie cup and it would still be a little stunning.While sparring in Kung Fu I got hit once and hit someone once. And then followed up with a punch to the side of his head. Crappy time for my training to finally overcome my instincts and just throw a follow up punch.

Well, I was a soccer player and it's a lot easier to avoid a soccer ball headed for your nuts than a tiny puck. I did do karate and Muay Thai but I guess I and my sparring partners were just really careful about avoiding certain blows. Come to think of it I've never seen anyone in the clubs I've been in take one to the testicles.

In Muay Thai you don't kick that high and in Tae Kwon Do you don't kick that low. I just couldn't get effective kicks to the ribs so I stopped using them in sparring. The wooden dummy is great for practicing knee level kicks.

I'm testicle-less, but my male best friend maintains he's taken many blows to his nuts in his life, but then again, he's the sort of guy who isn't shy about putting various body parts in the path of danger.

I'm sure my friend would agree with the sentiment of this joke. Dude's been electrocuted and hit by at least by one car, so getting shot might not be such a big deal to him. I'm actually sort of surprised he's made it to 29 and hasn't lost a couple fingers or an eye yet.
