i suffered the stigma through university of everyone hating that my education was paid for by tribal scholarships (i shouldn't be blamed for the inability of the less ethnic among us to organise themselves into family trusts that offer education grants/scholarships)
it's a miracle i didn't end up running a p lab from the neighbour's shed
the moral of the story: i'm over not being a "real maori"
