I refuse to get out my Ye Olde Poetree books and look for similar epics, lmao. I don't even like the kind that go on and on...except for Le Belle Dame Sans Merci, and a couple of others. No Whitman! No "Chambered Nautilus"!

I also like The Lady of Shalott, and Thomas the Rhymer-but at least they have plots that ~move, lol.

Loreena McKinnit did a great rendition of Lady of Shalott. I keep hoping she'll do Le Belle Dame Sans Merci-it seems like something she'd enjoy. Are you familiar with her? I LOVE her version of 'Bonny Swans'!!!

She came highly recommended, but I haven't heard a lot of her works beyond the ones on "An Ancient Muse"
