I'm teaching for NACA and Coconino Community College more than full time and I just accepted a position at The Noise (local rag) as the arts editor. www.thenoise.us When I'm not doing those things, I'm hiking (did the San Francisco Peak yesterday), studying and writing. I found this article in the NY Times, about El Salvador, where all abortion has been illegal for the past 8 years. It's a combination of explaining the laws and how they're enforced, and personal accounts of clandestine abortions. I have decided that I hate the term "Pro-Choice." It makes it seems as if "Pro-Lifers" are taking away a woman's right to choose. Because no one can ever take away that right, it's giving them a false sense of power. In reality, it's taking away a woman's right to a doctor, so maybe that's what we should call it instead. "Pro-Doctor."

Went on an incredible hike in Sedona yesterday--a place called "Boynton Canyon." There's supposed to be a vortex or two there, but we didn't notice.
