Why do I jinx myself every time?
I jinxed it, just as I knew I would, it is rant time, not rec time unfortunately.

I’ve been so lazy lately in updating this thing that it is unbelievable but I guess it’s just that kind of a mood …

Being essentially a Snarry purist, though I do read gen and mentor/guarding/father fic - yes, yes I am fascinated by Severus but that is old news - I was put in a bit of a spot the other day when a friend I have been trying to introduce to fanfic for years now, and literally years, actually expressed a wish to delve into our world the other day. Well it’s been a while since I’ve updated this thingie but RL has been killing me or more precisely I moved which turned out to be a major pain in the neck (to be polite). No wonder people actually rate moving as second most stressful thing.

Is puzzled...
I was wondering something tonight when I ran across a story on one of the sites that hosts HP fanfics. It seems rather popular, has more reviews than some really good stories but by everything it is oh so bad. I am then left in somewhat of a quandary - does one leave a constructive review in which one points out the problems of the said story or do ( Read more... ) -
Unhappy days...
Meh, sometimes the only thing that can get me through the day is a good Snarry. LJ is killing me lately, I have great issues with logging in, basically I can't. Even when I make it, it logs me out as soon as I close the page so then it starts all over again. RL couldn't be worse. Oh well..

The Olympics
I don't know about anybody else but I am enjoying the Snarry Olympics so far. Some wonderful, wonderful fics. I am to be totally honest having a hard time deciding which do I prefer, I don't think it can be done really considering some very good authors are there - heck some great authors are there - and well I am enjoying the stories too much to ( Read more... ) -
