Unhappy days...

Meh, sometimes the only thing that can get me through the day is a good Snarry. LJ is killing me lately, I have great issues with logging in, basically I can't. Even when I make it, it logs me out as soon as I close the page so then it starts all over again. RL couldn't be worse. Oh well..

Back to my Snarry comments for the day. I sometimes read ( Read more... )

Next time you come across a story like that you should leave a review critiquing it. otherwise, you could be leaving everyone to suffer through it AND more stories like it afterwards. XD

True enough, and most of the times I do but ... sometimes I just think it doesn't work really. Just a week or so ago, I left one, pointing out what I thought were good and bad sides and the author did respond in such a way that I had to go ask a friend to read over what I had written, because the negative comments seemed to have gone just over her head. I don't know if she misunderstood or heck, I hate saying this but sometimes the writers are too young to understand some things but at one point I honestly wondered if my post was that ambigous. You might actually make me go back and leave one for this story above, it is good but the grammar and those little issues just kill half the fun. I am not a native speaker of English but it still bothers me immensley.

BTW, hope you don't mind me saying but I love your site! It has got to be the best source of Severitus/Sevitus/etc fics on the web and I do love those. Amazing work! :)

Thanks! ;) I think the Severitus Genre is dying out a little though to be replaced by other categories like Mentor, Guardian and Misc. "Severitus" is really just a challenge ( ... )

Hmm, yes, I agree about Severitus (yes, the challenge isn’t even followed in most of so-called Severitus stories really) ones, and to be perfectly honest I am not sad about that. I think I have read pretty much everything that is out there that has been named as such and I find really loving just a few. It is difficult to pull off, no doubt about it and the mentor/guardian is a much more believable/realistic option so in reality I prefer them (probably even due to the fact that they are easier to write so they come off as ‘better’ stories ( ... )
