It's probably best to try and ignore the plot. While this season is shaping up to be pretty cool (at least so far), last season, meaning 3A, made no sense a lot of time and was very infuriatingly.

But yes to the Scott and Stiles friendship! They are delightful together and hilariously unsubtle in their shenanigans.

Oh *phew* I seriously thought I was missing out on some serious myth arc-ness. Seems not (looking at the other comments too!)

They are! They are such a joy. Love their "Famous Five" quality (*yikes* might be showing my age with that reference....;D)

They do kinda have a myth-arc per season but yeah, definitely better off ignoring it and staying for the character moments.

I'm not a huge Teen Wolf fan but I do try to follow it and I totally agree, the mythology and storyline are often really confusing! I'm glad it's not just me who thinks that tbh. At the end of an episode, I generally haven't a hope of explaining how it forwarded the plot. I can't quite put my finger on why it's so fuzzy, either. Maybe they just don't explain things clearly enough for my fuzzy brain? lol ( ... )

Hey,

Thanks so much for filling me in. The sterek stuff is interesting because even as a non shipper the lack of screen time has been noticeable. In fact, I'm not sure how any shippers would fare in this show. Lot's of changing about. :)

(ha! And I've just read some stuff on tumblr about the meaning behind the kiss (and dialogue). I won't spoil you but apparently there's an underlying message…;)

I'm glad it's not just me. It looks like it's just made up as it goes - satisfying the story for each episode. I just can't seem to join the dots...

TW is one where I seem to be in it for the fic more than the show itself, and for precisely the reasons you point out - I watch and haven't got the foggiest what the ever loving hell is going on half the time! And I seem to like the Sterek pairing, so yes, just as well I'm not relying on canon.

I haven't delved into any fic as yet (seen some cool art though). I wish the sterek pairing interested me as there seems to be so much stuff on it!

I'm glad I'm not the only one confused by the myth arc/s. ;)

No one understands the TW plot, or timeline, or mythology, least of all the creator. The best course of action is to simply enjoy the ride and not worry about it. :P

Oh thank God! (even the creator has no idea? I don't feel so bad then…)

And I will take your advice. I seem to watch for the pretty anyway...

The creator pretends he knows what he's doing, but he's contradicted himself out loud more times than I can count, then tries to back-pedal and re-explain and then falls back on: "You just didn't understand what I said/my creative genius."

*shrug*

I pay no attention to him, try not to worry about the gaping plot holes, and simply enjoy the pretty. Also, the parents are the best thing on TW. TW may not understand plot or mythos, but they write great parents. :)
